Abbazia di Busco: a name which hints at times past and to the ancient knowledge of the Benedictine monks who once made the Abbey of St. Andrew in Busco their home and were renowned for their agricultural and wine-producing techniques. These traditions live on today in our day-to-day work and result in our wines having a taste and depth which reflect a journey through history. National Integrated Production Quality System (SQNPI)
Our Company has joined the Integrated crop managment since 2019
SQNPI is a certification scheme which has as a target to add value to the vegetal agriculture productions obtained in compliance with the Regional Integrated Crop Management Guidelines, and it is recognized on a European level (Eu Reg. 1974/2006).
The integrated crop or agriculture management is a voluntary production system which is realized when the technical norms foreseen for any kind of colture are observed for both the defense from all odds, and for all other agronomic practices such as fertilisation and irrigation.
All wines are produced using the company’s own vines under the patient and continued supervision of the family which passionately follows all the various processes involved: from harvest to wine-making, in the continuous search for excellence in every bottle.
